Jurong Bird Park

Jurong Bird Park is a world-famous bird zoo where there are specimens of magnificent bird life from around the world, including a large flock of flamingos. It is currently the world's largest bird park in terms of number of birds. There are 5,000 birds of 380 species in Jurong Bird Park. Of these, 29 are of threatened species.

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a Buddhist temple and museum complex located in the Chinatown district of Singapore. "The temple is based on the Tang Dynasty architectural style and built to house the tooth relic of the historical Buddha. The ground breaking ceremony was conducted on 13 March 2005. Costing $62 million and 2 years later, a soft launch was held to coincide with the 2007 Vesak Day celebration." It is claimed that the relic of Buddha from which it gains its name was found in 1980 in a collapsed stupa in Myanmar. Since opening, the temple has become a popular attraction within Chinatown. Simple fare is served in the basement of the temple, though donations are accepted.

Har Paw Villa

Haw Par Villa is a theme park located along Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore. The park contains over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas depicting scenes from Chinese mythology, folklore, legends, history, and illustrations of various aspects of Confucianism.

Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a 74-hectare botanical garden in Singapore. It is the only botanic garden in the world that opens from 5 a.m. to 12 midnight every single day of the year, and does not charge an admission fee, except for the National Orchid Garden. The linear distance between the northern and southern ends is around 2.5 km. In December 2012, an application for it to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site was made.

Singapore at Night

A Walk along Clark Quay and the best night clubs is just a few minutes walk to the historic heart of old Singapore along the famous harbour and canal. A must-visit is legendary Raffles Hotel, home of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

Shopping Singapore

Starting in Chinatown, a visitor can find the best restaurants, clubs, markets, traditional hawker fooder vendors, luxury goods and trinkets. Peking Duck, tandoori chicken or lobster pad thai can all be found at outdoor cafes bordering the Singapore River and one block from the nightlife district centered in old Singapore.
